Is there anyway to find out if concert tickets on ebay are 'the real thing'. I have my eye on a few P!ink ones but I am a little hesitant.

Has anyone had any dramas with concert tickets and ebay before? Obviously I would only buy tickets from sellers with 100% feedback but is this enough?

Would you buy tickets from an interstate seller?

thanks
Indi
I've bought lots of tickets through ebay - made sure the seller had good feedback for ticket selling before I bid. I've never had a problem.

I'm pretty sure many of the ticket sellers (Ie, Ticketek) have clauses in the reselling bit. That is, they can't be resold on ebay or alike for profit. I have heard of tickets being cancelled because they've been sold on Ebay.

Personally I wouldnt purchase anything that expensive unless it was pick up. Ebay can withdraw the item if the seller sells it for more than it cost for the tickets -I have had a few friends who have bought tickets and real diamond engagement rings on ebay and gotten ripped off before, and they were 100%, just becasue they have 100% doesnt meant they cant rip you off and open a new account with ebay/paypal and keep doing it, check out the time they have had the account(and their feed back dates as a seller not just a buyer). You could place an ad on gumtree (free) or keep an eye out there or in the paper for locals selling tickets.

Big Day Out tickets are the only ones I've ever heard of being cancelled.

Pink tickets are everywhere on ebay ATM. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

I have bought tickets on Ebay before with no dramas. I never buy from anyone with less than 100 sales and 100% percent feedback.

I have sold tickets as well but I never ask for more than what I paid. The first time I did it there was no Buy it Now option so when the sale ended I sent the buyer and email to say that I didn't want the price they went for and just to pay the face value plus post.
