Becwants4 ~ It's a range of things about brushing my teeth that make me gag. The toothpaste, having it run down the back of your throat, and brushing that yukky stuff from your toungue. All three make me gag. It can make me actually throw up. YUK. sad.gif Can't stop brushing my teeth though. lol

I gotta go, DP is hasseling me to come help him fold the washing. I should, he's been the only one doing any housework today, bless him. biggrin.gif

Please let me know if I have missed anyone I know that I have.
bec21
tthumbs.gif tthumbs.gif tthumbs.gif thanks so much for doing the list MammaCass your a legend!

Hi Purplemonkey, i can see you down there.. was thinking we may even end up in the same mothers group (depending on how many people around here have March babies) wonder if i already know you! if you dont mind me asking your age? and did you go to school here?
purplemonkey
Good afternoon ladies waves.gif

Fabulous list MamaCass!!

Bec21 Haha! Well we just might be in hospital at the same time after all. I'm undecided yet as to whether i will attempt a vbac, or have a c/s at 38 weeks. Btw i'm a little South of you... at Yelverton.
eta: Oops posted at the same time! ssecret.gif I'm 32. Nah didn't go to school here. We moved to Duns from NSW 3 years ago and now we're out on a farm.

I still haven't got my blood results back aannoyed.gif Hopefully this arvo. Been feeling waves of nausea, but still paranoid of miscarriage. I need to stop charting as my temp dropped a little yesterday and today and it's freaking me out. Plus my hpt's are still faint.
Anyway, hope everyone is having a nice day. Still can't believe all the Bec's in here!!!
MamaCass
Purplemonkey I am paranoid too due to my lack of symptoms I had HCG done this morning and should have results this arvo am going to call the OBs office at 4 is that too keen?

No worries about the list I don't mind but I want to get it looking a bit better.
purplemonkey
No way mamacass 4pm isn't being too keen! You need to put your mind at ease, and no point waiting til tomorrow if there is a chance they will be in by 4pm. It's so stressful when you want something more than anything, but have no control.
myboyz
Hello All

Im so excited to be here........i got my Bfp yesterday but didnt believe it because it was so faint, tested again this morn and BFP.gif Due date is the 11th March 2010

Eb name: wuvmyboy
How many children: Ds(3.6 years)
Where your from: Adelaide Sa
Prediction: Always had a feeling i would have 2 boys??

Look forward to getting to know everyone.
Mamabugz
Purplemonkey They definately say to stop temping as soon as you get your BFP.gif because your temp doesn't stay up for your whole pregnancy. I took temps for a few days after and then got a low temp which scared me into stopping ddoh.gif Had bloods after that and hcG was great so low temps didn't mean anything. tthumbs.gif

MamaCass Great job on the list, thanks biggrin.gif Definatley call your ob at 4, don't want to go a whole night wondering...

wuvmyboy Congrats on your BFP.gif 2 boys rock ddance.gif
MamaCass
Welcome Wuvmyboy I have added you to the list. Congrats.

Five minutes til I call.
MamaCass
Not answering rant.gif !

Welcome Wuvmyboy

Purplemonkey - I have lived here my whole life so feels like i know half the region hehe!

MammaCass - dammit call again and again and make sure you let us know! Also if you dont mind me asking with your chemical pregnancy how many weeks were you? I am so anxious about this whole thing!
I think the list looks great! very exciting to see us all up there yay

I was talking to my mum today and she said she was sick before she even knew she was pregnant and it continued for months and months so i am now a little worried that something is not right i always thought i would have pregnancies similliar to my mums! i just sooo cant wait to see a heart beat!

edited to ask another question
purplemonkey
Congratulations and welcome Wuvmyboy!!

MammaCass Oh how annoying!! Keep trying!

Littlebears So glad i'm not the only one who has freaked over temps post bfp! I will definitely stop taking my temp now. The stress of it put me in such a bad mood this morning.

bec21 I know that dealership, but i haven't bought a car there. So weird we are so close, and due on the same day!! btw... your ticker hasn't updated today!!
~mrs84~
CONGRATULATIONS wuvmyboy on your BFP.gif and welcome to our DIG ddance.gif

OMG i have been soooooooo sick today! the nausea!!! i fell asleep on the lounge as well. I can't believe how horrible i feel BUT i am not going to complain tthumbs.gif

Looks like there are alot of us worried about loosing our precious little bubba's. Lets try and stay positive and count down till that 12wk mark original.gif
bec21
Purplemonkey - not sure i think i chose the wrong time zone when i did it not sure how to fix it although it seems to update around 6pm!

mrs84 - yay for being sick! well sort of IYKWIM

Yes positive thinking! ddance.gif ddance.gif ddance.gif ddance.gif

MammaCass - Have you gotten through?
monwar
Hi again girls,

Had my scan today...now i am paraniod! All they could tell me us that i am 4-5 weeks, there was a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole? I did think i might have been a bit further along, so now i am scared maybe i should be and the preg hasn't progressed! Got some more bloods done so can compare my hcg to a week ago! Very anxious now! Time will tell i guess!!!

thanks for listening xxx
bec21
Monwar - i am so keeping my fingers crossed for you. Why did you have the scan so early? i keep telling myself no blood means everything is ok! not sure how accurate i am in saying that but it is making me feel better. it is also making me get up from my desk around 10 times per day to use the loo! hehe wwhistle.gif
~mrs84~
monwar i wouldn't be to concerned about seeing a fetal pole at this stage. try not to stress yourself out to much.
monwar
Know what you mean about going to loo to check! I do a bit of that myself!!

I had the scan for dates, as i am unsure of my dates. I got my BFP on 20th June, so unless the test picked it up i thought i might have been a bit further along! All the scan has done though to make me worried....when i wasnt before!!!!!
MamaCass
OMG my HCG is 9153. I am stunned!!!!! ohmy.gif oomg2.gif oomg.gif . I am rapt. I know this does not mean anything but it is reassuring for now.

Bec21 With my chemical pregnancy I got a very faint BFP on 12 or 13DPO and then started bleeding on about 17DPO so I was not very far along at all.

Monwar My OB did a scan yesterday on me and could not see anything although he does have a very small machine so said he probably wouldn't see anything. So don't worry too much as it is still very early. He also said that he wouldn't get me to have a proper US until 7 weeks as then they can definitely see a heartbeat.

Yay yay yay.
bec21
monwar - i suppose only time will tell and as mrs84 said we all really need to try staying positive! (easier said than done i know)

let the countdown to 12 weeks begin!
*~*ME*~*
Monwar, how far along did you think you were??
Try not to be too stressed, easy to say I know.so if you got a BFP ON 20th June it should mean your only around 5 weeks then??? am i correct, if thats the case yes its too early to see a fetal pole.

MamaCass Awesome HCG levels tthumbs.gif was that the first lot you have had done?
List looks great.

I am having a scan next friday on the 10th july, so i should be 6 weeks, 2 days then, fingers crossed it goes well. I have had an aweful stomach bug yesterday and a bit today, i am praying everything is ok.

Congrats wuvmyboy, welcome to our DIG!
bec21
That is great levels mammacass! OH cr$p its 4.15 here and i still have work to do i will BBL!
KirstenMc
Oh my goodness I simply can't keep up with you all! I so wanted to logon during the day at work today, but am waaay too busy, having been off sick for two of the past three weeks (not pregnancy related).

Welcome, wuvmyboy, and thank you Mamacass, for doing the list! And congrats on the great HCG score! cclap.gif

Isn't it funny (or not so much!) how paranoid we all are? To think that when our mothers - well, mine anyway, maybe not the young 'uns - were pregnant, they wouldn't even have known for sure until maybe 6 or 7 weeks, with a blood test. And no scans back then either! wacko.gif

My first pregnancy I was a bit paranoid because I'd been told I might have 'a few miscarriages' while my uterus learned to grow (it's small, as I was born with only one ovary), but by the third pregnancy (2nd child) I was waaay more paranoid, not only b/c I had had a m/c by then, but because I knew more - like about missed m/cs.

I can't tell the difference between pregnancy symptoms and general unwellness at the moment, but I tell you I am exhausted!

Bec21 My mum was nauseous all through all three of her pregnancies, but I only was in the first trimester (and a bit) for my first two, and am not yet at all. And my sister really wasn't particularly sick at all. I'm trying to enjoy that while it lasts...

Night all!
funkymunkee
Hi girls

Can I join you?

I got my BFP.gif on 25 June. I think I was 14 or 15 DPO. I'm going to my GP tomorrow to get my BT to confirm and I'm going to ask her if I can have the quantitative beta HCG test done too. Having been through an early loss not too long ago, I'm worried sick that it will happen again ddown.gif

I want to know how come some of you are able to get a scan at this early stage? Is it for dating purposes only? Can you see anything at this early stage?

Wish me luck tomorrow!

Good night.

My only symptoms so far are tiredness. Im buggered by mid morning. Ive got tomorrows day at school planned. I think I will "reward" the kids with a DVD. Totally course related of course. LOL!

Would love an early scan, but not likely. Wonder if you can self refer for one? I dont mind paying.
prettymummy

I think my fear of m/c might be passing!

someone asked me when it started in the last thread link... started 3 days before my BFP.gif .. so wayy early!

Moxie i hope u feel better soon and it doesnt last long..

also Bec21.. my mum was not sick much with any of us and im always sick as.. completely different pgs, i have massive amounts of complications and she was perfectly normal? it is not always a family trait.. so put ur mind at ease!! (maybe ask ur gran on ur dads side?.. u have a different genetice coding..)

anyway its really late here, nearly 11pm, and i have just done a 15 hr day!! (every 10 mins im in the dunny! but i still tried to work my butt off!!)

Wow this thread is moving so fast now. I hope I can manage to keep up.

Mamacass congrats on those beautiful high HCG numbers. You must be so relieved.

Welcome LucidDream and Funkymunkee and congrats on your BFP.

Moxie I hear you on the cold. I have not long got over a bad case of Bronchitis and now I keep sneezing and am just waiting for it to turn into a cold.

AFM still not feeling sick as such just the occasional wave of nausea. Still have not been to the Dr but figure as still early days and I know all my dates I can put it off till next week.

Have a great day everyone and to all who have MS hope it is not too bad. ddance.gif
myboyz
Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

There seems to be so many of us.....i cant keep up!!

Nausea seems to have taken hold of me this morn. I had all day nausea with ds for the first 3 months so i was kind of expecting it. Im just so thrilled to be pregnant that im sort of saying BRING IT ON!!! Weirdo i am!!

Has anyone else been experiencing insomnia? I normally get 2 days of it with my period each month so its obviously a hormone thing for me. Ive had it all week.

Great to be here and i hope everyone has a wonderful and safe journey ahead.

Hi girls,

I received my blood test results yesterday confirming my pregnancy's not in my head, so no more lurking for me! tongue.gif It's been great the past week reading your posts, I've had a lot of the same feelings and it's been very reassuring.

My HCG test was 157 at 14DPO, so pretty happy with that.

Monwar: I'm the same as you - GP sent me for a scan at 5 weeks - don't know why - just for dating I suppose. Had my scan done yesterday and just saw the sac and yolk - she did say it was probably too early to see anything else, but I'm worried now since my nausea and boobs have settled down in the last couple of days.. GP has referred me for another scan in 2 weeks..

I suppose all i can do is wait and hope.. hands.gif

monwar and babee hoping its nothing bad for you both, and just hoping its too early to see anything.

Kaza, funkeemonkey and Lucidream ,Congrats on your BFP And welcome to our DIG.

Well i was feeling a little sick this morning, but have come good, i had a tummy bug wed and thurs, so wasnt sure if it was a bit of that still or actually morning sickness.

I just found out my friend is pregnant again.... usually i would be happy but this is her 4th child, to a 4th man, she has 3 boys and desperatly wants a girl, so she keeps having babies. she has only been with her current boyfriend 4 weeks. nno.gif

Hope everyone else is well
monwar
i have decided i dont like early scans, since i didnt see what i wanted lol! got my bloods this morning and my HCG has gone from 1050, to 9,000 over the past week so i take that as a promising sign that something is happenine in there.....and my scan was just too early. fingers crossed! i have another scan in a couple of weeks.

such a nervous time for everyone isnt it. think ms is kicking in, waves of nausea coming more often now!!

Hi,
I'm here to join! This is my first pregnancy and I'm not really up with the lingo but I'll give it a go. I got my BFP.gif last weekend. It was really faint for the first test and I thought I had premenstrual soreness so was sure it was wrong. Especially as it was the first time we had TTC. But alas further tests gave me a definite answer and have I since discovered it's just my round ligaments sorting themselves out. My breasts have grown a cup size in a week. I cannot believe it. My husband is pretty pleased though. tthumbs.gif

I'm pretty hesistant about getting excited as it is early days but I'm pretty relaxed at the moment. And thanks to some good advice about Floradix (natural herbal iron supplement) and eating habbits I am feeling great and aiming for no MS. I may however eat my words in a few weeks.

I hope everyone is enjoying their news and not getting to stresed out about possible MC.

Look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Ladies,

I'm doing this hesitantly, I got three very weak BFP.gif 's yesterday 10DPO. They don't look anywhere near as strong as my BFP's (10DPO) as my DS wacko.gif Anyway time will tell, tomorrow should be AF due day if this cycle was the same as last.

Hoping I get to hang out in here with you all!

Owh, I think from my cals I should be due March 15th. In saying that I have gone 2.5weeks early with both my other children so who really knows.
mums~the~word
Hi all yummy mummies and congratulations! original.gif I am here to join this wonderful group. I have been lurking for a few days but wanted to get some sort of signature up before I posted.

This will be my second child and I am over the moon about it, though a little worried as to how I will cope with the sleep deprivation thing again. I have a gorgeous son Joshua who is turning 2 this month, he is the love of mine and my girlfriends lives, not to mention the grandparents, as he is the first born. His father, also this babies father plays a special role in all of our lives.

I am doing well, tired but that's nothing new for me. I have a neurological illness called P.O.T.S which affects my blood pressure but seem to be managing ok on that front at the moment. I have felt a wave of sickness come over me only the once so far and didn't do too badly with that last pregnancy. When I was trying to come off some medication I was sick but that was to be expected and I have stayed on low doses for this pregnancy.

Hello again

Thanks for the warm welcome.

So I went to my GP today. Did another HPT for her. When she walked into the room with the result, and said "it's negative" my heart skipped a beat. But then the 2nd line gradually appeared before our eyes within 10 seconds, but it was still faint though.

Got my BT done, and will have results on Monday, and depending on those results, will have another BT on Monday too. Hoping for a high HCG level hands.gif

No MS here. I never got MS with DD though. I wish I have MS though just so I know that at least I'm pregnant and not just me imagining it. I can't believe I still have this surreal feeling, seeing that it's my 2nd.

Hi there!

I was hoping I can join in too?
I got my BFP today (couldn't wait to join this group!) - am four weeks along, due 12th March.
This is my first so I'm so excited!

I haven't had any MS yet, though still getting weird period-like cramps - not sure what this means?? wacko.gif Does anyone else get this? I'm praying my BFP is a sticky one.

Looking forward to getting to know you all - if I can keep up with all the posts!
