I had an induced labour at almost 20 weeks follwed by a D & C in the middle of last month. The bleeding following this lasted 2 weeks with residual gunginess (TMI sorry!!) for another week. The emotional upset this has all caused is likely to alter my periods I am sure, but would like to know what the norm is.

Does a D& C 'reset' the clock and should I expect AF at my usual cycle length of 32ish days? Or can it all be different from now on or just for this first one. I am keen to get back into to charting and preparing for the next time I feel ready to give this merry-go-round a whirl.

Missing my baby girl, getting harder and not easier at the moment, just wanna turn back the clock to when I was 'innocent' of such tragedies...

Ally,

So sorry that you have had to go through the loss of your daughter sad.gif

I have been told that the D&C is counted as CD1 of your first cycle (cant remember who I was told by.) Anyway I have gone from a 28 day to the day cycle girl to being irregular....28days, 22days, 37days and 33days. So I have no idea as to what is happening now!!

I got back into charting etc a cycle before I started to TTC again. I am now so frustrated with my irregular cycles that I have asked my Dr to start looking into it and I am off to a specialist.

I am also missing my little boy (due 2wks ago) and wish that I could stay forever innocent of this. Its all so wrong!

(As you can see I am having a bad couple of weeks)

I know that this probably doesnt really help to much but to know that there are others out there who know how it feels to lose a child.
