As per title, I thought I could add a child care provider through online services but can't find the button - is it possible or was I dreaming? I couldn't get through to FAO all last week. So frustrating.

I don't think you need to anymore? The childcare centres are all using the on line system now aren't they?

They've changed the system. You no longer have to let them know they number of your childcare provider. I just went through this myself, when I changed to kids from one centre to another. As long as your centre has all your and your childs details, they will be able to claim directly to CL.

Yes, they have changed it.
The only thing you have to do now is let the centre know your child's centrelink reference number, which is different to your own centrelink reference number.

Oh good thanks for that. I have been panicking as I had to put DS in vacation care last week and as a single mum was worried about the full fee! Thanks so much for your advice. I thought I was going crazy! Haven't used child care for so long now my children are older..
