Hi
I was just wondering how long after a d&c you have to wait until you get your period. I had a d&c on Nov 24th after a missed-miscarrage (we lost the baby at 6 wks and 6 days but my body didn't pick up on it, we had a very minor discoloured discharge at 11 wks and a subsiquent ultrasound showed we had lost the baby). I thought I would have had a period by now, I just want some sign that everything is ok. Also I have done a pregnancy test just in case and it came up negative. Please help. Thanks

Hi there,
My ob said 4 to 6 weeks. I had my d&c on 20 Dec, and have a return appointment with my ob 6 weeks after that. Maybe you should go back to see your ob? Best of luck.

I had a d and c on 23 November for a blighted ovum which was discovered at 9.5 weeks. I got my period exactly 5 weeks later, hopefully yours will turn up soon as I felt so much better after I got my period, knowing that everything was working again.
