I was wondering if there is such a thing as M/C support services. Ive just had another loss and I just dont have anyone to talk too about it as DH isnt coping too well and my family just fall apart.

Hi Felicity,
I don't know of any m/c support services however you will find that the ladies of EB can offer you great support. I also suffered a m/c at 8wks during december. I found that I recieved alot of support from other women on this site. Take time for yourself to grieve. If you need someone to talk to feel free to pm me.

If you are in Sydney - there are support services.

SIDS & KIDS who have monthly support groups for loss from conception through to a child of 5 years often have separate support groups just for miscarriage. Their phone number is: 1800 138 300

You can also ring SIDS and talk to one of their counsellors over the phone.

The Mater Hospital at North Sydney also have miscarrigae support/information nights from time to time, approx 3 times a year. Their phone number to find info is: 02 9900 7300

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
I have found SANDS to be a wonderful support after my two m/c.
Not sure where you are but their Brisbane number is (07) 3254 3422 if you are in Brisbane or their regional number is 1800 228 655.

edited: Because I've just discovered you are in Victoria. The number for SANDS (Vic) is 03 9899 0218.
Hope this helps in some way.

Hi Felicity original.gif

There is a free miscarriage and grief counselling service very close to you that I attended after my third m/c before Ben.

Open Doors Counselling Services
5 Greenwood Ave Ringwood (03) 9870 7044
FREECALL 1800 647 995

It is an in-person counselling service, with some services available by phone and I found them absolutely brilliant in helping me deal with coming to terms with my losses and move forward somewhat original.gif

Good luck to you and I hope that helps!
