Changing your font can affect the display of a website but it has nothing to do with your communal drive. Sounds like you might have restricted access to your communal drive if you aren't able to add to any of them. You might only have read access but not read/write access.
Re Display not saving - this could be user specific. Do you share the log in (username/password) with anyone? If u do, whoever you shared it with might have reverted back to the default. Or you don't have the authority to save the changes that you made

yes I get into the communal drive, and I was able to type stuff into a doc here and there. (but these are the ones which appear different and I can't change their fonts ) Nothing comes up saying 'read only'.
Another lady who does admin there (on the days I don't) told me that whatever I said I had saved on there, had not been saved and nothing showed up for her.
All I thought I'd done was change the fonts. This is bizarre!
