l think the team at sue shepherd are absolutely fabulous! l have only had a couple of consults via phone as lm 2 hrs away and found them really helpful, l have also emailed them a few times since if l have needed help, lm not sure if lm coeliac, as lve only just been tested, but l do have other food intolerances so l would recommend
them....

gf flour, l only really like the white wings one, gravy, l have only used the gravox gluten free one in the tin...

I like her books. I've adapted the recipies to use normal g/f flour (white wings) and also used her flour recipies - both seem to work well here.

Major supermarkets are getting an increasingly good supply of gluten free foods - I get white wings g/f flours (both plain and self raising), gravy mix (by Orgran), rice flour etc from local supermarkets. Other flours, like besan etc I usually get from a health food shop. Have a look down the health food aisle at your supermarket for the range they have.

I've never spoken or had a consult with Sue Shepherd so can't comment there. I don't always plan meals for specific nights, but we've been gluten free for over 9yrs so it's more second nature now.

I think her books are great when you are first starting out on a gluten free diet. I am now 6 years down the track and find that I can just modify normal recipes now, rather than needing a specific gluten free cookbook. However, I did use her books a lot initially.
