We are renovating and I had my appliances all picked out then got my electricity bill and am rethinking.
We currently have a Westinghouse freestanding 60cm gas hob and oven, I was going to get a electric wall oven and gas hob. But now I think with the rising cost of electricity I might stick with a gas oven and gas hob.
I can only find gas wall ovens by westinghouse or ilve. Can you recommend me either a free standing gas oven and hob or gas wall oven and hob. I am thinking 90cm
Or if you have gone from a gas oven to electric oven did you have a big increase in electricty bill?
Thanks
My sister had the same comment recently that it is hard to find gas ovens - they all seem to be "ranges" so one unit with legs?.
I would go to a place like Winning Appliances and ask them - I think I found did also find a Bosch gas one online. Some ovens sold as underbench may also be suitable for wall installation, and vice versa.

Work out how much/often you use your oven. Use the energy rating thingy plus the price of electricity in your area and work out how much it costs.
I wouldn't trade the precision and convenience of an electric oven for a few dollars saved (we are on LPG gas so exxier than natural).

I have also found La Germania wondering whether anyone has this brand.

winnings recommended I get a gas hob but an electric oven as they are more efficient.
I've used westinghouse electric hob and ovens and they have been great.

I'm also looking for a 900 Wall oven - electric.
People keep looking at me like I've got 2 heads!!! And telling me a 600 is the best i can get and just to get a below bench oven.
Hell no .. they won't be the ones using and cleaning the bloody thing.
