If you live nearby perhaps ask to take her out on a shopping spree. My niece loves this and she goes nuts!! Of course I have a limit and she knows that but it is fun just going shop to shop and then we have a cafe lunch/morning tea afterwards. Time with her is gift in itself.
I got my 11 year old niece a dress from Supre for Christmas. Supre is not my kind of store but she and all her friends love it. I found a really nice sun dress for $30. Still age appropriate and pretty!
