RachealJane welcome and congratulations

Hi ladies,

Thanks for all the advice re my friend. I'm currently still holding off and think I might for a couple more weeks until her husband returns from work so that she at least has his support. This however will change if she asks me directly if I'm pregnant and then I'll have to be honest as she did the same as me when she was pregnant late last year. I don't think it's fair to tell her though whilst she's without the support of her hubby.

Excited that I'm finally off to my Drs appointment tomorrow.

Stretching feelings in uterus have eased off a bit now so feeling slightly more comfortable except lower back soreness. Still waiting for nausea.

Told a colleague yesterday but of course she's sworn to secrecy and understands the importance of no one knowing since I'm reapplying for my job at the moment. Felt good to be able to talk about it though.

Itching for the second trimester, soooo impatient!!! Want to start shopping for the big things but going to hold off for now.

Hope you all have a good day original.gif

Hi everyone, just joining in now. Got my BFP on Sunday! Was 5 days late & although no signs at all im very rarely late so i tested & got a nice suprise. I had been TTC for around 12 months with no luck & had pretty much given up on trying. But they say thats alwasy th ecase huh! Anyway this will be baby no 4 for us. Anyway will go back now & try to catch up on thread original.gif Congratulations to everyone & hope you are all well x
RachealJane
Hi threelittleindians congrats on baby number 4! I just joined too, but this will be baby number 2 for us.

Cams I know how you feel regarding your friend. My sister in law who i am very close with had a miscarriage only 8 weeks ago so i am really nervous to see her in case she directly asks me and i have to tell her as i think she is still really shaken up.
Im going to the doctors today for bloods. Im a little concerned as my HPT's dont seem to be getting any darker yet (4th one today) but i am still breastfeeding my DD and i heard the hcg is also in the breastmilk so it may be diluted due to that.

Have a great day biggrin.gif
Happybabies
Hi everyone,

Just a quick one for me as I'm off to the doctor to get my referral and have this pregnancy confirmed. Still no symptoms so it will be nice to know its real.

It seems like ages that I was first posting in here, waiting for others to join but then again I can't believe I'm only just passed 6 weeks. Go quicker please!!

Anyway will pop back in later after the dr's. Sorry no time for personals but I hope you're all doing well xxx
bikingbubs
Hooray I am actually enjoying waking up and feeling hungover! I am taking it as a sign that things are heading in the right direction! My DS has finally started sleeping through properly so its quite good timing really!!
Welcome 3littleindians!! Its starting to be quite a big group - musty have been lots of new years loving going on wink.gif
Cams im the same about the second trimester. For some reason the first just seems to drag on and on!!
jacqui - I use itti bittis with DS and I love them! Have also tried cushie tushies are whilst they are ok I only use them if im getting desperate!!

Soooo... we are also getting married in 2 months! I should be 12/13 weeks at our wedding and I cant wait to surprise all of our friends with our news!! hehe, bit cheeky of us - but timing of our second was more important than me not being able to drink at our wedding!! I shouldnt be showing by then anyway and if I am i'll just blame the cake wink.gif I am having blood test tomorrow and will get a referral for a dating scan as im not 100% original.gif

Hi Mummies and Mummies to Be

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA of late – I seem to read on my phone or at work so don’t get too much of a chance to reply. And boy does this thread seem to move quickly, especially seeing we still haven’t reached capacity yet with lots of new BFP’s to come!

Cams – I feel your pain with telling someone who has been trying for a while with no luck. My DH’s best mate found out late last year after a year of trying that he has no active sperm – at least not when it matters. They are going through investigative procedures at the moment to see if there are any at all which can be used for IVF. And then here we go, first time, not even really trying. I think we might just keep that last bit to ourselves because I’d hate to hurt them. I know how much they want a child.

BikingBubs – congrats on your impending wedding! At least that should keep your mind busy and off the pregnancy a little as you make the final preparations. What a lovely surprise for your guests – good luck keeping it a secret until then!

Happybabies – I agree – time needs to go quicker! I’m six weeks tomorrow but it feels like I’ve known for months! Its on my mind contantly when I’m at work, but its much easier to forget at home when I’m running after a toddler!

Cars – we recently brought a new Outlander – so excited as it will fit the two seats nicely. I had a small wagon before this but this has much more width. So happy with the purchase so anyone looking at new cars keep this one in mind!

Prams - i don’t think we will bother with a new pram. I just had a stroller type one last time (Silvercross Dazzle) and used a bassinet for the first part when DS was little. I loved that it was so light and it laid right back so DS had no problem sleeping. I have a babybjorn I’ll use at the start too if DS needs the pram or use a trolley as DS is a little obsessed with them.

Also, welcome aboard to all the newbies. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

ASM – just chugging along. Have booked my dating scan in for next Wednesday. I’ll be 6w6d based on LMP so hopefully far enough along for a nice strong heart beat. I don’t think my dates will be any later than that, maybe a few days earlier as I think I O’d early in the cycle. I haven’t got any MS as yet (touch wood) but I have a horrible taste in my mouth 24/7. Nothing seems to make it go away so that makes me feel a little ill but I think I can deal with that!

kimliz
Congratulations rachaeljane and threelittleindians wonderful news!

A wedding, how exciting bikingbubs!!

GG Enjoy your holiday, I'm sure everything will be fine!

Prams??? Hmm. I have a Phil n Ted which was great but wasn't always ideal in the double mode with a newborn. I'm thinking of getting a mountain buggy duo ( side by side) off eBay. DD will be almost 4 and already prefers to walk but realistically if we are shopping or on a long outing she is still going to need a rest. DH will probably kill me so maybe I'll just get a baby carrier and DD can use pram if she gets tired. I did promise him in my sales pitch for a third baby that I would not need to buy much and just get by with what we have. I sold heaps of great baby items after I had my pigeon pair thinking that would be it, whoops unsure.gif

AFM I had my blood and urine test today, hope all the results come back AOkay. Feeling pretty darn icky today yay rolleyes.gif Bet I'll be less excited about the nausea come this time next week.

Big hello to everyone else.
geishagirl
Hi everyone

Just a quickie from me...I did a digi test this morning with FMU and it came up 'pregnant - 3 weeks+' so 5 weeks+ counting from LMP. I feel a bit more reassured by that and last night's nice, strong dark IC, so that's good.

I also called my GP and she is happy for me to have another blood test, so I will go and collect the referral either later this afternoon or first thing tomorrow, and GP will call me with results ASAP - should only take half a day.

Sorry for lack of personals - am at work - but will try and catch up with you all again before I go on holiday - too excited!!!
OMG Finally!!
hey chicks - just wanted to ask a really quick question... anyone elses skin HURT?

My upper arms, thighs and tummy/back skin hurts. I can kinds explain tummy and back by wearing pants that aparently are already too small yesterday (is that even possible !!!!!! - Im so grumpy!!) but the arms and thighs?

Anyone heard of this before? How urgently should I see a doctor.
THere is no rash or bruising but it feels like bruising, not muscles really, just the skin??

Im worried! (hello anxiety - thought I had you under control!)

WIll be back for proper forum chats later..... anyone help?
kimliz
Sorry no idea OMG FINALLY. Hope someone can give you an answer, sounds mysterious. Have been using any different moisturizers for stretch makes for example. I learnt I was allergic to palmers cocoa butter when I was pregnant with my son.
my3beautifulboys
Hi, I was given the link and invited to join this group. I have just recently got a BFP on Monday, I cant beleive it as it was really the first proper month of TTC! So very excited. I will be expecting #4, so fingers crossed that the next 9 months goes well!

ETA; I am due in October.

original.gif
Cams
Welcome my3beautifulboys. Congrats on your BFP and yay for getting it so quickly.

OMG and kimliz - I have also had a reaction to cocoas palmer butter previously as well, ended up in a massive rash and could tell it was from that as I hadn't been using it on my whole body, more just stretch marks and thats exactly where I had the rash. Hope it's nothing serious though OMG.

Feeling a little excited tonight. Just had a discussion regarding finding out babies sex and we're both kind of keen on finding it out. I have been feeling a little torn but I love the idea of being able to design the nursery however I want rather than just neutral and being able to look early for amazing clothes at great prices (I'm a bit of an internet shopper and have already bought a couple things from Pumpkin Patch and Little Frenchy but at great prices).

Today have more indigestion but not sure what from.

Can't wait for my Doctors appointment tomorrow although not liking the idea of needles eek!!!

Apparently I have been snoring quite badly the last few nights, think tiredness is kicking in. Think DH will be happy to leave me for work for a few weeks away hehe. Will miss having him here to look after me and of course keep me company.
RachealJane
OMG Finally!! are you taking your pregnancy vitamins? A bit of googling shows that it could be a vitamin deficiency that is causing your skin sensitivity.

I had my blood test today so i should know my HCG levels tomorrow. Im pretty nervous as my HPT's arent getting any darker yet. Wish me luck!
RachealJane
Im already feeling a little better as todays test i didnt have to squint to see it biggrin.gif

Kazz33
Good Morning ladies! Rachael – Don’t stress too much bout your line not getting darker. Easier said than done i know coz i worried too. But it took over a week for mine to come up nice & strong. It’s definitely a relief when it does, so try not to worry in the mean time 
My3 – Congrats on your BFP & for it happening so quickly, lucky girl!
OMG – Not really sure if this is a similar thing or not, but i find when i have too much sugar, the next day i feel like im bruised all over. I would get check out if youre worried about it tough.
3littleindians – Welcome & congrats! Yep always seems to be the case that you fall when you give up trying.
Ugh happy babies i know how you feel! I just want the 1st trimester to be over already so i can start to look pregnant & tell everyone!
Bikingbubs – Congrats on your upcoming wedding! How exciting, a baby & a wedding. How is the planning coming along? Hard to believe this time last year i was planning our wedding. We’ll be coming up 1year in April, the year has flown! I agree, timing of your bub is more important than being able to drink at your wedding.
Littleurchin – We just bought an Outlander before Chrissy, i love it! Hopefully i’ll still love it once bubs comes & i have to wrangle a pram etc.
Kimliz – Yay for feeling icky! I wanna feel icky too  I just feel tired.
Geishagirl – Woo for holidays! Hope you have a fantastic time. Where are you off to?
AFM - I'm still feeling fine, just tired. I had my first app with my dr yesterday. He didnt even bother with a test, he said that my 11 positives were good enough for him. He sent me for bloods & urine, should get the results Friday. He said that i wouldn't have a scan until about 19weeks? Is this normal? How come everyone else is talking about a scan at 7 or so weeks?
We also told my my parents last night. They were a bit excited. Not their first grandchild, but its a bit diff when its their daughter not their son aving a baby.
Hope everyone has a lovely day. Almost the w/e original.gif

RachealJane
Thanks for your reassurance Kazz. I just got back from the doctors and my HCG was 18 for 3 weeks 5 days (yesterday). Im ok with that but the doc wants me to have another bloods done in a day or 2 to see if its doubling. This chart: http://www.baby2see.com/preconception/hcg.html
says that its within normal range but i might just do it anyway just for further reassurance. Anyone else had lowish HCG levels?

It is normal to have a scan at 12 weeks called the nuchal test and then the one around 19/20 weeks is standard too. The 7 weeks one is called a dating scan and is just to see how far along you are so you can make sure you go to your 12 week one on time as that has to be at a very specific time.

Ahhh, this has made me feel ever so slightly hopeful. I had bloods done on Monday prob only 9dpo but the HCG came back at 11. I had more done on Wednesday 11dpo and they have only risen to 13. The doctor said it is likely to end in miscarriage soon but possible it will still be viable. More bloods on Monday. Hopefully its just as it's still soo early? We've been trying for 9 months and I really want this to be the one! Not loving this limbo land.

Anyway amazing to see so many due in Oct, congrats to all!

Thanks so much Stevie, feeling a bit more positive, had a day off but will POAS tomorrow and I'm really hoping the line will be darker than it has been Mon, Tues & Wed, if it is then perhaps I'm just a slow starter!
RachealJane
letsgivethisago hoping you and i have some nice results early next week.

StevieRaines thanks so much for those averages, where did you get them from? Makes me feel a lot better, thank you!

Welcome my3beautifulboys. Great that it happened on your first cycle!!

And welcome 3littleindians. So glad to hear that you've falling pregnant after a tough journey.

Cams Yay on finding out the sex of bubs! I loved knowing with DD and can't wait to find out with this one.

happy babies I can't WAIT to start showing and actually look pregnant. The first tri is always the hardest because you're busy waiting, waiting, waiting.

Bikingbubs how exciting that you're getting married!! Congrats!! I'd love to have my wedding again just because I enjoyed it so much. DH won't hear of it though laugh.gif And I didn't drink at my wedding and I wasn't even UTD!

Prams €“ We have a Valco that we got for DD so we'll just use that again. I'll probably end up buying a good sling and carry bubs in that and DD in the pram.

Kimliz Good to hear you're feeling icky! I'm feeling the same which is great. Though part of it is this damn head cold which isn't so great sad.gif

Geishagirl Good luck with your next BT results and have a great time on your hols! We got some coming up in a weeks time. Can't wait!

letsgivethisago Fingers crossed that your bubs is just a slow starter and your levels will increase quickly.

Kazz33 I'd definately be asking for an earlier scan!! You should at least have one at 12 weeks just to check on progress if not an earlier one to find our your EDD. Then if you're having the NT scan that is very specific timing wise (around 13 weeks I think).

I'm not getting the NT scan so I'll just have my 12 week one then my morphology scan at 20/21 weeks.

AFM Still feeling miserable with this cold, but I'm getting there original.gif. I'm so so exhausted though. I can't imagine how I'll function like this when bub comes along oomg.gif . But it's amazing how you cope because you have to.

Telling my MIL tomorrow that we're pregnant! Can't wait! This will be #4 in 2 years. They're doing well. And then I get to tell my sisters and their husbands in about 2 weeks time. Yay!

Hope everyone is going well this week.

OMG Finally!!
hey chicks - really quick because Im at work....

I think the tingly ouchie skin must have just been a cold coming on... had trouble sleeping and had sore throat all day - I am completly fine with that - as long as I know what it is !! (Man pregnancy makes you STRESS!!!!)

As for girls with low levels... my Ds (now nearly 5 y.o. didnt even show up on a HPT until 6 weeks pregnant - so how is that for low levels. I had no problems at all in the pregnancy - so sendign good vibes to you all.

AFM - been hinting to DS about "hopefulyl soon there will be a baby in mummys tummy - and he is very cute about it - cant wait to tell him when its safe!!!

Have a great arvo chicks -

C xx
kimliz
Rachaeljane and letsgivethisago - i have been where you both are now worrying about levels, I know how horrible and consuming it is. It's only very early days, think positive thoughts. I am sending you the stickiest vibes I can.

OMGfinally- glad the skin thing wasn't anything, too bad about the cold though, hope it doesn't get too bad, it really sucks having olds when UTD, you really miss those wonderful cold medicines.

Kazz33- definitely different when it's a daughter having a baby, I'm sure your mum was thrilled. Although the past couple of years I have become quite close with my MIL and I think she will be over the moon.

AFM- My doctor pretty much laughed at me when I requested a dating scan. He wasn't even going to send me for NT, but I put my foot down on that one, I am 35! I'm disappointed i'm not going to see my little bean for ages. At least I'm feeling gross, so I have that to keep me assured, so funny that I'm enjoying feeling sick. Today has been a shocker, first of all I get a call from pathology, that was scary enough as it was, even though you rarely receive results from them I thought bad news straight away. Well as it was the ladie that took my blood yesterday, only took one vial instead of three, der! So I thought ok no worries and ducked down to have more drawn. The needle stung a bit more than yesterday, and was in the other arm, but when I got to my car, my arm was so swollen, sore and tight I had to go back. She thinks it must have hit a nerve??? It feels muscular to me, but said she definitely stuck a surface vein, so not sure what happened. It's still really sore, I am going to ice it again now. I hope after all that drama that all the tests come back with good results!

Hope all the colds get better girls, Such terrible timing to be unwell.

Kim original.gif

Just a mini vent because I should have known better.
My dr wanted me to get a scan asap to determine dates etc. I can be no more than 5 1/2 weeks based on when I had my implanon out - and apart from that I think im about 4 1/2 weeks so waaay too early to see anything. But, I still had one adn was told its too early to see anything!!
I feel very nauseous and my pregnancy tests have shown up very strong since sunday so im not worried about the not being pregnant part, but of course I have a slight bit of worry now. sigh. not to worry will have another one in 2 weeks or so and im sure all will be fine original.gif
kimliz
Bikingbubs OMG can't believe the stupidity of that, a doc should know there is nothing to see yet! How awful that you had to go through that! Don't worry at all, can't tell you not to be angry though, I would be, but I'm not having a great day either!
bubygyrl
Hi All,

My work has blocked this website, making it hard to catch up. By the time I get home from work looking at a computer is the last thing on my mind wink.gif

I'll be 7 weeks on Monday and since last Sunday I have been feeling quite nauseaos, bloating and lower back pain that comes and goes.

Is the back pain normal this early...? freaks me out a bit as it feels like my Back Pain I would usually get a few days before AF. I'm not spotting or anything and BBS are still sore and I swear they have grown with DH agreeing (and the constant seedy feeling).

I've got a check up with the Dr tomorrow to run through that other sheet before my first Antenatal on Wednesday and will talk to him about it tomorrow also.

Cams
Kimliz - completely understand frustration of not being able to get a dating scan. Waiting until 12 weeks is way too long!!!

AFM - went to the Doctors this afternoon. The lady I saw doesn't deliver etc so has referred me onto another Doctor, who I don't get to see until March 21st!! Seems way too far away. Also won't get a scan until 12 weeks. Does it matter if you go in at 11 weeks?? She was saying that going by first day of cycle I would be 5 weeks and due on 13th October. I do however know that I O'd late due to longer cycles so not sure how she got the same day as I had despite me going by when O was. Had very little done today. Got my referral for ultrasound and for bloods which I didn't do today thinking that they would've already been closed since it was after 5. May take up to a week to get results back as the bloods are sent down to the city.

Still not much in the way of symptoms. Still sore boobs, weird orgasm type feeling when urinating and was getting heaps of stretching type feelings last week and over the weekend in my uterus however that has calmed down now but still have a little soreness around the hips and down into my legs a little. Not sure what that is about?? Really not a fan of having to sit around waiting, so thankful to at least be seeing my naturopath regularly so that I can ask her questions and help reassure me.

Was however exciting to receive my pregnancy folder and read some info on the local hospital, procedures and antenatal classes etc (which I'll be planning on requesting to do a full day session as doing 5 evening classes will never work with DH work.

Off to do more pregnancy research, want to find out if spices are safe to have? I heard something about cumin so if anyone knows anything would love to hear original.gif

Hello everyone! Thought I would join the group. I have known for just over a week and a half that I'm pregnant with my second child. It came as a bit of a shock as it was my first cycle. DH and I are so happy but I think DH feels a bit ripped off...he was looking forward to months of baby making. The pregnancy calculator says that I'm due on 13 October. I'm off to the doctor next week. Feeling good so far. Looking forward to sharing my journey with you all.
geishagirl
Hi all

Quickie from me as I'm on nights until tomorrow - booo! Hard work when feeling so exhausted and vaguely queasy all the time! Hurray for symptoms though!

Good news today...GP left a message for me to say that my HCG levels have risen to over 45,000! She sounded quite shocked in the message that they were so high and said I could even be having twins! That is a very scary thought for a first pregnancy, so hoping not to be honest!

GG

Edited for baby brain...I am not on nights until Sunday, only til Fri as going to Vanuatu on Sat - WOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOO!!! biggrin.gif
kimliz
GG - wow awesome level, does sound very high, the twin thought is very scary isn't it?
melzy02
geishagirl - wow twins...that doesn't sound scary at all biggrin.gif that's great news about your level!

bubygyrl - I know what you mean about getting home from work and not wanting to do anything! I've been doing 10 hour shifts so by the time I pick my boy up get home organise dinner and bedtime routine Im knackered! Plus so much goes on on this board I find it hard to keep up...or post I find I just read a lot blush.gif

RachealJane & letsgivethisago - positive vibes to both of you. Wishing you all the best for this pregnancy!

Congrats to all the mummies to be wub.gif

huge congratulations to all the newbies!

OMG I LOVE the Blue nose teddybear nappy! SO cute! wub.gif

bikingbubs ~ What a cool way to announce your pregnancy, at your wedding!

Kazz ~ I won't be getting the 12wk scan for the NT test (It's optional.. I haven't had it done with any of my kids) but I requested a dating scan.

Purple Chicken ~ I hope you feel better soon!

bubygyrl ~ Back pain is very normal during pregnancy... it's from the relaxin your body releases in early pregnancy. My back hurting was my first symptom this time around.. it started at around a week after conception!

Geishagirl ~ Great news on the good HCG! LOL at her saying it might be twins.. my pathology lab told me the same thing when I was pregnant with DS2... my HCG was 133 at 12DPO! I think they need to realize how much those comments stress women out! haha

I am exhausted! Very long day today. DS2's first day at preschool plus had to get the other 2 big kids off to school first. 15mins before we're due to leave DS3 jumped off the couch and landed funny... and broke his arm! cry1.gif He is finally asleep on a mattress next to my bed now, so if he wakes up during the night I'll know straight away. I took his sling off for him to sleep so I don't want him walking around without it.

Feeling very pregnant today.. lots of nausea and heartburn! Bad part of it was not being allowed to take DS in for his Xray's sad.gif It was awful sitting outside that room hearing him cry!
YoBagaBaga
Just popping in to say hi! I am due 3rd of october. Given it is very early days yet we havent told anyone and I just need to come and vent! This all-day nausea is driving me bonkers! right now I just want to throw up to feel better. First pregnancy this feeling didnt settle til about 20 weeks. Fingers crossed it doesnt last as long this time!
OMG Finally!!
heya - some advice again please girls...

Ive ben feeling VERY pregnant since finding out, bloated, sore (.)(.) full feeling, and sooo tired..... but... the last two days - I feel normal again... Im really starting to stress! No cramps or bleeding or anything - so noting to make me think bad things besides this "feeling" anyone have anything to compare this to?

Yes - you will get used to me paniking this much!

C

OMG I kind of know the feeling, My symptoms aren't as prominent this week as they were for the first few days. Is it maybe that we're getting use to some of the feelings or they symptoms aren't always as prominent at different times eg for me I felt a lot of uterus type stretching for the first few days and not so much now, perhaps its stretched enough for now. It sure is confusing and as my first pregnancy I never know what to thinking.

Geishagirl - Eek possibly twins. I know what you mean though as scary to Have twins for first pregnancy. With my hubby away for work I'd find that ultra daunting.

Received exciting news from a friend today who had her baby in the early hours of this morning. Very excited for her and can't wait to find out more details and see photos.
JungleFlower2012

Oh my gosh J4CQUI your poor son! How old is he? My DD had a broken leg at 7months of age and luckily because she wasnt crawling yet it didnt seem to bother her. How is your son dealing with it? Kids are very resilient.

I had my second blood test today. Only 48 hours after the first one. Is that too soon, should of it been 3 days to see the doubling of the hcg levels?

Hi Guys,

I'm back from my holidays and feeling a little more confident with each passing day.

Cams How exciting for your friend! I hope everything is great with her and bub

OMG Can't really help you too much as this is my first, but I hqve been having the same thing, lots of little symptoms, then nothing. I am still having my favorite symptom of insomnia for about 3-4 hours every night. That one can jam itself!

YBB Welcome! 20 weeks of nausea?!?! I hope you fare much better this time

J4CQUI Oh no! your poor son! I hope he is feeling ok, if it is any consolation I always wanted a cast when I was little, so I hope that it has some novelty value for him. Poor little poppet.

Geisha, great news on the HCG, and have a great holiday.

AFM Back from a relaxing holiday, which had a few unexpected twists, but good news is that I am 6 weeks tomorrow. Hurrah! Feeling a lillte queasy now, but not too bad.

Hi Ladies!

Wow, this thread moves so fast! It's great to know we have such a wonderfully supportive group here original.gif

Welcome to the new comers, I'm looking forward to getting to know you all as the months go on!

Just a quickie from me today ~ I have heaps of paperwork to catch up on while the kids have their nap (I do Family Day Care, so I get an hour at sleep time to get all my documentation done). But I just had to pop in to say Congrats GeishaGirl on your great HCG levels! Twins would be a very big surprise!

And Jacqui ~ I'm so sorry to hear your son broke his arm, it must have been terrible for you (and him!). I hope he's as well as he can be and he heals very quickly. How long do they anticipate he'll need to have a cast on?

Afm ~ still not much to report. My queasy-ness has stepped up a notch, it seems to be hitting around 9am and hanging around till early evening. I wouldn't go as far as calling it nausea yet, I get the feeling this is just the beginning of it!

I'm taking my best friend out for dinner tonight for her birthday, and I'm going to tell her about baby... very exciting! She has 4 children (who were my 3 flower girls and one pageboy for my wedding wub.gif ) and has been saying for years that I need to hurry up and have a family. I'm so exited to share my news with her!

Have a lovely Friday everyone x

Aww Cubalulu sounds like you are going to have a wonderful night with your friend. I old some of my close GFs today and it was so nice to talk about it.

OMGfinally I have felt a bit panicky too, I keep quishing my boobs to see if they're still tender. It's perfectly normal to feel this way, wish we could all just in a time machine and FF 7 weeks

YoBagaBaga ~ Welcome and congratulations! I hope your nausea doesn't last as long for you this time!

OMGFinally ~ I had the same thing. Lots of stretchy feelings, etc and then nothing for a few days. Now I'm rediculously bloated everyday (I look about 15wks pregnant already!) and my heartburn is starting too.

Cams ~ How exciting that your friend had a baby this morning! My godmothers son had his first child last night! Baby news is always exciting but it's different when you're pregnant biggrin.gif !

RachealJane ~ He is just 3 :-(. Wow!! 7mths old! Poor baby! And poor you! How did that happen (if you don't mind me asking...). Lukas is doing really well. He gets frustrated when he can't do things for himself and seems to bump it a lot. He is in good spirits though, he is such a tough kid!
Back to the fracture clinic next week to have a full cast put on it.. they couldn't do it yesterday because the swelling was too bad. :-(

Lorem Ipsum ~ How was your holiday??
LOL at wanting a cast when you were little... neither my husband or I have ever broken a bone! This is the second broken bone for our kids so far... I'm sure there will be a few more! Lukas is calcium deficient due to food allergies so it was pretty likely that he would break something eventually. sad.gif

CubaLulu ~ I used to do Family Day Care too.. loved it and loved the kids!
Not sure how long Lukas will need his cast on for.. they think his calcium deficiency might make him heal a bit slower so we'll just have to wait and see and do repeat xray's.
How exciting telling your friend about your pregnancy tonight! Have a great dinner!

New symptom here for me... sensitive nipples! Awesome! rolleyes.gif haha...
OMG Finally!!
Cubalulu - how did it go with your friend??

We were all set to tell inlaws on SUnday (getting together for my birthday) and tonight MIL mentioned stuff to DH about some inheritance coming our way... ahhhhhhh - does she know HOW MUCH that actually means right now that I might not have to rush back to work after bubs - far too excited right now... think I might cry telling them on Sunday!

Also the stretchy pains are back and sore lower back - yay yay!!! I read somewhere today that m/c rates after 8 weeks and seeing the heartbeat drops to about 1.5%.. thats pretty damm good me thinks... 14 days to go then!

Night all! xx
Cams
OMG - damn the sore back hey? I'm getting over it already and looking forward to seeing my naturopath next Friday to try do something about it. And you mean to say I have more stretchy pains to look forward to?? Lol. I've actually been comfortable wearing pants this week unlike last week but as long a it means bubs is growing I'll be happy original.gif That's great the m/c rate drops so significantly, wish I could have a dating scan so that I could see heartbeat early sad.gif

AFM - not much to report, but another baby!!!! Woke up this morning to find out another friend had their baby last night so that's two friends in one day, one late and one early. Very exciting for them but its making me all the more impatient to know how things are progressing for us.

Won't be seeing anyone again until the Doctor at ten and a half weeks and then have to book in my ultrasound which I'm thinking I'll book in the following week. Didn't manage to get a dating scan sad.gif Five weeks today I believe.
