I am totally freaking out already!

I have won a trip (photographic) to NZ in April and I am totally just about hyperventilating about going already!!

They sent me an email to confirm flight dates and Ill just about ready to pass out! lol

Ive never been without my boys in 13 years (well except wedding night!) Ive always had at least one with me everywhere (except a 10 min dash to the shops when hubby was home!).

Im sure once I get on the plane Ill be fine but until then........and Im going to worry non stop while Im away! I dont want to go cry1.gif

Way to go!!!! And literally go go go!!! What a great opp to get away and for something great as well. They will survive. Might be some fallout when u get back BUT they will survive.

How exciting. The boys will survive but DH probably won't. He's probably already worried about he and the boys will cope with out you. Enjoy the holiday, you deserve it and will benefit from having a break. NZ is a beautiful place so make sure you take lotsof photos to show when you get which make all of us terribly envious.

That's absolutely brilliant, a great chance for some father/son bonding time and for you to *have a life* (omg, seriously, I'm so excited for you!!).

How long is it for ? Where are you going ? I love New Zealand, if you like landscape photography be prepared to take a million photos !

You'll be fine. When I finally went away for a few days I cried at the airport "I don't want to go!" A couple of days later when preparing to leave I was still crying. This time it was "I don't want to go home!"

I havent even got my passport yet!! Talk about finding excuses to NOT go!

Its 4 nights, 6 days inc the flights.

I'm actually a kiwi so going home (lol) I lvoe NZ and miss it so so much, but would have rather been taking the whole family with me, not going alone sad.gif

I esspecially hate being with strangers that I dont know, Im going to freak totally!

Congrats on winning the competition! how fantastic!! you will capture some lovely photos in NZ!

Im sure everything will be fine...but then im going away with hubby for a few nights soon without my kids who 1 is SN & the other is medical needs & im sure ill be freaking out too!!

Hey if your DH is looking after them along with carers you still know they are in good hands but hey who cares if you come back to a house upside down good that you are having a derserving break!

ENJOY!!

Congrats on the competition! I am sure you deserve a well earned break Cat. You seem to have it all under control, and I really do think you need some time to yourself to just be you. Its only a week and no more than that. You will come home to a family who really appreciates you....as they will know whats its like when your not there!! Take the time to breathe and enjoy biggrin.gif
