So I think we have decided to get a springfield trampoline. It's more expensive than vuly, buy you can lay by online. So, if you have a springfree, what size did you get? Are you happy with your choice, wish you got bigger or smaller?? How many children/adults can jump at once?

We have the round one, I think its 8ft. We got that size because it fits well in the spot we have for it. Our two boys have a great time on it and when we have visitors there will be up to 6 kids on it and they have a great time. Our kids are currently 6 and 3 and their friends of similar age.
It was a tough decision to make as they are expensive but its lasting so well. We've had it for 2.5 years and its looking great. A few friends I know have had to replace mats/nets etc on their cheaper trampolines within that time which worked out very expensive so for us I think it was a good buy. I'm sure it will be going strong for many years to come.

see I suck with visualizing size, 8ft sounded tiny but obviously it's not...oh it's too hard! maybe we should just drive to melbourne and try them out at the display centre

I adore ours, would never have anything else. We have the smallest round one, and its probably not big enough now, but our kids are 8, 6, 5 and 1, I think it would fine for starting off and then upgrade later (which is what we will do, when we can afford to).

We have the old model that was available a few years ago. It's round and at the time was the biggest round one in their product range. It's 3 years old now and is still as good as the day we first set it up, unlike the cheapies some of my friends bought at the time. They all have their weight limit listed. Ours has had a couple of adults or about 4 kids on it at a time. I prefer two at most on the tramp because otherwise collision accidents tend to occur.

We have the large oval and that seems to be a good size for ds now (7 yrs) but seemed huge when he was little.

Definitely go and try jumping on them at the display centre. We did this a couple of months ago in Sydney as we're planning to get one for DS' birthday in June.
We went in thinking we wanted an oval one, but much preferred the bounciness of the square one so we're getting that instead.

We have the round small one as there is not much space in our garden. We normally have 3 littlies or 2 big girls at a time and there is lots of space.
I paid for them to set it up 3yrs ago and when we moved house recently they came back and dismantled it , checked it over , packed it in boxes and then came and put it together again at the new house. It was well worth the extra money !!

so we went to the Melbourne showroom on Saturday, DH tried them all out (Pat got stage fright

) and decided on the large square. We have a big yard but because of trees there is really only 1 spot it can go. It is 3.4m x 3.4m, the website says you need a space 5.8m x 5.8m, that is 2.4m on each side which seems excessive! It would also be somewhat near the fence, would that make it worse? How much space did others leave? We will be getting a bobcat in to clear a space and make a pad with compacted local gravel.

Ours is the large round one it is about 7 years old now
We have about 2 metres clearance around it and that is fine.
Our kids still use it the youngest is on it everyday.

We have the round one and got it 4 years ago. It's fine for our boys (7 & 5) and they play in it as well as using it as a tramp. I'm happy with the size we got and the quality is fantastic. Ours is in near perfect condition (slight discolouration on the plastic tube bits on the side) even though it's been out in the weather all these years. Quite a few of my friends all bought their kids trampolines (not springfree's) that Christmas and ours is the only one that hasn't needed any fixing.
Just saw your other question about space around.....can't help there, we've got 5 acres around ours

We got one for the kids for Christmas. They are 8 and 6.
It's the 2.5sqm round one. I would have like to get the bigger one but that is all that could fit in our yard. Still a good size for two jumpers.
It's awesome and they play on it nearly every day - multiple times!
I just wish we had purchased it years ago.
When it's cool and in the evening DS and I often grab some pillows and a blanket and look at the sky/stars. It's kind of our spot to unwind.
I would purchase the biggest your yard can fit.

We also have the smallest one (as we don't have the extra space needed around), I think the 2.5 meters is very excessive, you don't need that ... and I would pay to get it set up, I was actually not home, but left instructions (thank goodness my cleaning lady was home as they would have set it up in the wrong area - a court yard on the other side of the house - and we couldn't have moved it) ... I got home and it was all done

We are looking at the large square as well. At first I really didn't want a "square" trampoline, it just sounded odd, but then we went and tried it and loved it.
We have acerage as well, so space wasn't really an issue, but you want to get the right one for the amount of money that you are spending. The other factor was that we only have 1 child, but was considering the years to come.

So, if you have a springfree, what size did you get?
We have the large oval.
Are you happy with your choice, wish you got bigger or smaller??
I'm happy with ours because it suits our needs. The length is great for kids wanting to kick a ball around in it or do flips and it doesn't take up a monstrous amount of space (we are on an acreage but I still didn't want the tramp to use up too much space)
We have friends who have the small round one and it suits their family perfectly. They have a small yard and demure children. We have other friends who have the super large round one and it suits them. They have boisterous boys who like to do tricks. They have the space for it, but it does dominate the visual space of their backyard.
How many children/adults can jump at once?
I have always been a believer in one at a time for safety reasons. I was intending on buying a second small round SF tramp so that two kids could jump at once, but my kids don't use it that much so it wasn't worthwhile. I have relaxed my rules because often, the kids don't use it for big jumps. They generally run around and enjoy the bounciness. If they do want to do big jumps, I ask that they take turns and the others stand on the edges. But I'm a bit of a safety freak.
the website says you need a space 5.8m x 5.8m, that is 2.4m on each side which seems excessive!
It's because the walls are springy too so it stretches out beyond the edge of the tramp frame. I know it isn't technically right, but I have seen kids use the walls as slingshot type things.
