Hi,My DD is 23 months and is a very windy child. During the day it doesn't seem to bother her but it is waking her during the night. I thought she would grow out of it as it has been waking her up since about 8 months. She wakes about every 45 min till about midnight then sleeps well after that. When I go into her she is crying and passing wind as soon as she has stopped passing the wind she goes back to sleep.
Does anyone have any advice?Thanks

I've put my DD 18 months onto a probiotic for this reason. Might be my imagination but I think it's helping! Might be worth a try.

My DD has always had this problem too, it has got better as she's gotten older (18m) but she still has bad nights. sad.gif

I've found she's better on the A2 milk and we avoid potatoes as they really seem to upset her tummy. We tried a probiotic but it didn't really help her, worth a try though.

ETA - massaging her tummy and cycling her legs helps a bit, I can literally massage the wind out and that sometimes helps her settle down.

Is it any worse if she eats something in particular? Do you think it could be an intolerance. DS2 gets hideously windy if he manages to get a hold of some dairy or eats something with too much soy in it (he has other symptoms too though, mainly reflux like symptoms, vomiting from too much dairy, and runny explosive nappies)

Thanks for the advice.
I have tried taking away dairy but it doesn't seem to make a difference. There is no other symptoms just the wind.
