Ethan is laying in my arms, it's almost bed time and his eyelids are starting to droop (yay! finally!)
I'm looking at his eyes, and his pupils are changing size!!!alternating from not much bigger than a match head, to huge so it takes up half the iris, then it goes back again.
I have never seem them do this! (and I often look into his eyes!!)
Is this normal? It's almost creepy!!!

Is he opening and closing his eyes? Are you sitting under bright lights? If the pupils are getting larger when his eyes are closed and then gradually shrinking when he opens them, then yes that is normal. It is his pupils reacting to light and dark (behind closed eyelids). If that is not what is happening, then I'd check with a health professional.
