What can I do with 4 cups of sesame seeds?
The only thing I can think of is sesame seed snaps, but is there anything else I can make that isn't so sweet?

Tahini, use some of it on honey soy chicken wings,. Eta you could also make halva though it is sweet.

You could make tahini and then use it in other recipes like hummus etc.

Mix them with bread crumbs and make chicken schnitzel.
Make your own bread, with sesame seeds.
Barbecue Honey wings...
<h2 class="ingredients">Ingredients (serves 8)</h2>
- 1/2 cup (125ml) barbeque sauce, plus extra to serve
- 2 tbs honey
- and 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2kg chicken drumettes
- 2 tbs sesame seeds
- Hot potato wedges, to serve
<h2 class="method">Method</h2>
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Combine 1/2 cup (125ml) barbeque sauce, 2 tbs honey and 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce.
- Add 2kg chicken drumettes to the marinade and toss to coat. Place in a large roasting pan in a single layer. Sprinkle with 2 tbs sesame seeds.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a large baking tray and discard any liquid. Bake for a further 10-15 minutes or until golden. Serve chicken with extra barbeque sauce and hot potato wedges.
I think there isn't much that will use up huge quantities, but lots of recipes that use little amounts.

Not a solution for the whole 4 cups, but we dry fry sesame seeds (and others) in a non stick pan and sprinkle very liberally over salads, baked potatoes, sandwiches.... basically anything. They are soooo good toasted!

They won't go off OP - don't stress! Just keep them in a tightly lidded jar.
Things we use sesame seeds for: sprinkling over our home made bread, sesame chicken, in stir frys, sprinkled over roast pumpkin, homemade tahini....

You can make sesame cookies. 2 cups make around 50 pieces.
You can also toast the sesame seeds and add into salads or veggie side dishes.

You don't have to use them up right away, just keep them in a container in the pantry. I have a heap in there that are probably coming up to a year old! I use them to sprinkle on bread before baking, toast and chuck through stirfrys or on salads. My kids like sesame cheese pastry twists which is easy. Just get 2 sheets of puff pastry and sandwich them together with grated cheese in the middle. Cut into thin strips and twist up on the tray. Brush with eggwash and sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds. They only take 10-15 mins to cook and cool really fast which is a winner in this house.

Surely tahini would use up a lot of them.
How did you end up with 4 cups of sesame seeds?
