It's a case of seeing double over and over again, with more than 1500 people taking part in a 'twin festival' in Pleucadeuc in northwest France, thought to be one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

The festival celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, attracting larger numbers than ever of twins, triplets and even quadruplets of all ages.

The festival came complete with a multiples parade, musical performances and old-fashioned games like sack races.

One set of twins recounted how one Christmas they both made the other a photo puzzle using the very same holiday snap without having discussed it, adding that those kinds of unspoken connections happened all the time.

The Today Show aired the video above, asking fans to post pictures of multiples. People of course obliged, the post attracting more than 1,500 responses.
The thread is well worth a browse, with one person posting a picture of the four sets of identical twins born in her residential street acoss the 50s and 60s.
Our fascination with multiples has no end and with more multiple births occurring each year due to fertility treatments, we have the means to stay fascinated.
The largest multiple birth festival in the world is thought to be  The Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio, which had an attendance of 2,411 sets of twins and multiples for this year's festival on August 2 to 4.
