Eva Mendes is notoriously private about her family life with Ryan Gosling and their daughters.
However recently the actress has opened up about life at home, candidly talking about her parenting struggles during lockdown.
The 46-year-old talked about how "challenging" she's found raising daughters Esmeralda, six and Amada, four over the past year, and how they're now getting her "full on attention".
"Full on Mom mode," the Hitch actress wrote on Instagram, along with a selfie.
"I've graduated from my man's sweats to a robe. All day," she continued. "File under: stopped caring for now. (And anyone else out there go horse-like on selfie mode?)"
"These days my kids are getting my full on attention. It's challenging for sure but they need me now more than ever."
Mendes concluded the post with a list of parenting pages that are "getting her through", urging parents to check them out if they're feeling overwhelmed
Fans loved the honest post, many saying they can relate — particularly to the robe part.
"Thank you thank you so much for sharing!" one fan commented. "And YEP just changed out of my daytime jammies into my nighttime jammies. Sheer survival is okkkkkkkkk mama, we're here for you."
"Mum of two littles and I feel you," agreed another.
Earlier in the year, Mendes said she'd be scaling back the time she spends on social media after her daughter asked her to.
"I haven't posted lately because my little one told me I was on the phone too much," she in an Instagram post.
The actress has also shared in the past why she doesn't post photos of her daughters, explaining they don't really what having their image online means.
"I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids," she said.
"I'll talk about them of course, with limits, but I won't post pictures of our daily life."
