Kirsten Bell found herself in a sticky situation on Monday when her daughter decided to give herself an unconventional makeover.
Taking to Instagram, the 39-year-old said in her stories: "My daughter just washed her hair with Vaseline and I can't get it out. Has this ever happened to anyone? Does anyone have any tips on how to get it out?"
The Frozen star, who is mum to Lincoln, six, and Delta, five with husband Dax Shephard, added that she had washed her little one's hair three times, "but it's not getting any better."
Mercifully, mums of the internet leapt to Bell's rescue.
I LOVE @KristenBell 😂😂 this happened to my sister when she was 2 and my mom actually called poison control😂 look at the three for a pic of my sisters hair covered in Vaseline! Kristen, I sent you a video on IG of my mom explaining how she got it out! pic.twitter.com/FohDYfvoDO— Amber (@RegalLove2) February 4, 2020

Try peanut butter or olive oil! It may loosen and thin the baseline. Otherwise, try Dawn Dish soap! If they can use it on ducks, you can use it on your daughter! ❤️— Lori Beyourownperson (@ladgb2016) February 4, 2020
@KristenBell You can remove Vaseline from your daughter’s hair by pouring Johnson and Johnson Baby Oil on her head and massaging it in to coat the hair. The oil emulsifies the Vaseline and you can then shampoo it out. I’ve been there, you’re welcome.😄— Lynne Evans (@remember267) February 4, 2020
"Okay the consensus was dish soap and I appreciate that," Bell said in an update. "I'm very grateful for you guys because I don't know what I'm doing."
