Jessica Alba is every parent when they have been stuck at home with their kids for weeks on end — ready for a break.
The 39-year-old actress recently appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she talked about homeschooling, and how stressful it can be
"I told everyone in the family that I need a break from them," Alba told her Never Been Kissed co-star, admitting she planned a "mum getaway" with close friend Kelly Sawyer.
"[We're] gonna go away for a week and I don't really know what we're getting ourselves into, I just know I can't be around my family anymore because I've literally had it. I've had enough," the mum-of-three laughed.
Alba, who shares son Hayes, two, and daughters Haven Garner, nine, and Honor Marie, 12 with her husband Cash Warren, says she's found herself nagging her children more, admitting she gets frustrated with how her husband handles things.
"Cash is like, 'Gosh I guess I'm going to go back in my man room.' I'm like, 'What else is new?'," she said. "Just disappearing for me to deal with everything. So yes, it's been fun, it's been really fun."
It hasn't all been negative in the Alba-Warren household though, with the Honest Company co-founder telling People they've taken some family road-trips together to get the kids out of the house.
"We threw them into so many different types of situations that they've never been in before, they're pretty adaptable," the mum gushed, adding that "so far" she feels like her kids are turning out "okay".
″I'm just grateful for that," she said. "You never know how it's going to go."
