Pink forgets how old her kids are

What we love about Pink is just how relatable she is, as a woman and most definitely as a mum. She loves her kids – daughter Willow and son Jameson – fiercely, but she's the first to admit she's not perfect.

And I think we can all relate to a "mum brain" moment she had recently, while being interviewed for her upcoming documentary, following her latest album "Beautiful Trauma". She was answering a question about juggling two kids while touring, when she got a little bit confused.

"It's so many moving pieces," she said. "It's a lot of parts – the studio sessions and you write the songs and then you have to finish the songs. And somebody is in New York and somebody is in Philadelphia and then maybe there's a choir in Philadelphia. And then it's photo shoots, video shoots, you're in dance rehearsals and then you're maybe on a festival tour at the same time over here and you're getting ready for your regular tour, so it's rehearsals and it's putting on shows."

Okay, not something most of us can relate to so far, but that's life when you're one of the biggest music stars in the world.

Then Pink added, "And then your 6-year-old has surf camp and your 8-year-old has a vaccination and then your album is out."

Wait, does Pink have a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old?

Someone behind the camera then points out to Pink that Jameson is 8 months old, not 8 years old, and Pink responds with her trademark candour.

"I said 8-year-old? Ah, sh*t."

Haven't we all been there? All three of my kids were born in September, but when asked for anyone's birthday, I pretty much have to count on my fingers and toes to figure out who was born when. We're busy mums and we've got so much going on in that busy brain of ours. Occasionally there is going to have to be a small glitch.

So again, Pink shows us that it's not just us, and that celebrities mums are human too. Something we can always count on her for.
