Pink hits out at parenting police: I won't share photos of my kids anymore

Pink has had it with keyboard warriors and parent-shamers.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the once avid poster announced that she would no longer be sharing photos of her two children, Willow, 7, and Jameson Moon, 2 on social media.

"I'm prouder of my kids than anything I've ever done and I just won't share them anymore," she told Ellen. "I won't do it, I'm not posting pictures of them anymore."

While Pink and her husband are no strangers to trolls, receiving criticism for everything from cooking while baby wearing, to putting Jameson on a dirt bike, to sharing a family photo at the dinner table, the backlash to a recent snap of her son not wearing a nappy was the final straw.

"We live on a farm. My kids are naked. It's what happens. I'm naked sometimes," she said. "People went as far as saying, 'Someone should call child services,' because he didn't have a diaper on, and 'How dare I?' — just some of the nastiest things.

"I cried so hard after that. I love to share my family ... but I won't do it anymore."

She added, "I understand people saying, 'You need to be more careful, because you are in the public eye, you should have thought of that,' and they're right, but there's a nice way to say that. There's a kind way to be online. I'm open to kindness ... there's a way to do things."

Pink also acknowledged that with Willow soon to turn eight, the decision not to share her daughter with the public might be for the best.

"It's probably time to pull her back from the world and let her live her best life," she said.
