Victoria Beckham is famous for being reluctant to embrace her Spice Girls roots, repeatedly rejecting offers of reunions and public appearances with her former band mates.

The rules around her pop star past seem to be different on the home front - she's given the world a glimpse of her playful side, dancing with son Romeo to her band's 1997 hit song Spice Up Your Life.

Posting an endearing video on his TikTok account, 17-year-old Romeo watches - and attempts to emulate - as his mother pull out the moves to the hit, which peaked at number eight on the Australian music charts and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association.

Victoria, 45, showed she has lost none of her energy and co-ordination, dancing beside her amused son and decked out in black fitness gear with fluoro yellow sneakers.

Romeo might need a little coaching from his famous fashion designer mum if they're to form a dancing duo - he's not quite matching his mum's stage presence yet, but his obvious amusement as he watches his mother is charming to see.

Victoria shares children Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper, 8, with soccer sensation David Beckham, 44.
However reticent she is to reprise her Spice Girls days, she recently revealed one of her fondest moments is looking back on a film clip in which she was pregnant with Brooklyn.

Asked on British talk show This Morning what her favourite look was from that era, she replied, "My favourite Spice Girls look would be the 'Goodbye' video actually," she said.

"I was pregnant with Brooklyn at the time and I had a pixie haircut, I was wearing a Jil Sander dress, which was super chic, and just really natural, nice makeup."

"I was at that stage of pregnancy when you are a little bit glowy," she continued. "It was just very natural and I look back at that video and it really does make me smile because I had little Brooklyn in my tummy."

Fellow band mate Mel B. told Good Morning Britain in June, that it was "a bit disappointing" Victoria didn't show up to watch the Spice Girls concert at Wembley, but said there was no rift.
It seems the past is in the past for Victoria, who is now a fashion icon who has climbed the ranks of the fashion industry as a designer.
