Many parents are worried about how best to provide a healthy, balanced diet for kids - and it seems Victoria Beckham is no different.

The famous mum-of-four posted on Instagram stories on Monday revealing the super-healthy, if slightly unusual, after school snack she had made for her kids.

"Seeds doused in organic aminos! Grilled until crispy! After school snack!" the fashion designer exclaimed before adding, "Good for mummy too!"

Now for some, this snack will be more than a little out there and for others, this is just healthy snack 101.

The product Beckham has used is the Bragg's brand of liquid aminos, a well-known substitute for soy sauce for the health conscious and those with coeliac disease and gluten sensitivities.

According to Livestrong, this alternative seasoning "...contains 16 of the 20 amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. The body uses these amino acids for digestion, tissue growth and repair."

But would your kids eat liquid amino-seasoned seeds as an after school snack? Take away the fancy name and it simply becomes a bunch of seasoned seeds; seeds we find in bread at Woolies and hardly high-faluting.

Whatever your thoughts or your own kids' food preferences, Victoria has never made any secret of her disciplined approach to life.

She told The Times, "I get up quite early, around 6am, and do an hour in the gym before the kids get up, then I give them breakfast and David or I take them to school. I'll then fit in another hour's workout before I go to the office."

Just another parent concerned her kids are getting a healthy diet? Absolutely.
