Cadbury Creme Egg lovers, you're in for a treat this Easter.
After releasing a couple of teasers over the last few weeks that a new Cadbury Creme Egg product was about to hatch, we know now exactly what it is - an entire block of Creme Egg chocolately goodness.
Or, as Cadbury puts it, "The new way to goo".
The blocks have already been spotted in supermarkets and Aussies are going mad for them.
"I'll be sitting in my room eating this for the rest of my life if anyone's looking for me," said one woman.
"Fine I'll start my diet next monday," said another.
"I already feel about 10 kilos heavier after seeing this," wrote one fan, summing up the sentiments of many.
While they're currently flying off the shelves, if you're lucky you can pick up a block from Coles and Woolworths. Sadly they're a limited edition, however, as nothing Goo can stay ...
The announcement has taken some of the heat out of the company's decision to decrease the size of their chocolate blocks due to rising costs. The move has left fans fuming, because when it comes to chocolate, clearly size does matter.
In an Instagram post on 7 February, Cadbury explained, "Rather than raising the recommended retail price, we've made the call to reduce the size of Cadbury family blocks and also bring down the recommended retail price slightly so that our blocks can continue to be an affordable treat for all Australians.
Reassuring customers that taste would not be compromised, the company added: "You can rest assured that the ingredients and recipes that deliver the smooth, creamy taste of Cadbury chocolate remain the same."
