Hold onto your (blossom) hats and grab your most unflattering denim jeans - the much anticipated BH90210 trailer is here!

Featuring all our favourites (except Luke Perry, sob!) it's cheesy, it's fun, and it will have you humming the theme song for the rest of the day.

The six-episode series which stars Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders), Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman), Tori Spelling (Donna Martin) and Brian Austin Green Green (David Silver), was first announced back in February, just days before Perry experienced a stroke and died aged 52.

Fans have been told to expect a reboot with a twist - the former teen idols playing "heightened versions of themselves"  inspired by their real lives and relationships with each other.

"Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Shannen, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian, and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it's time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running," Fox said at the time. "But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?

The trailer comes after Fox released a clip of the crew reunited for an initial table read last week.

Online, it's clear that for die-hard fans, the countdown is most certainly on.

"Can't wait!! The theme always gets me going and I love that they're old like me now!!"
"My middle school aged self is jumping for joy!"
"Omg I almost cried at the theme song... So long ago when it first aired in high school."
"The Brenda Dylan Kelly love triangle was the best part about this show. Going to be so sad without Dylan."
The absence of fan-favourite Perry was also on the minds of the  BH90210 crew as they appeared at a launch event to promote the series on Tuesday.
"Luke was a huge part of our '90210' family, and personally Luke was a very large part of my life," Priestley told  AP. "So it's obviously very difficult to do this without him."
Added Garth, "He's been with us every step of the way."
