- 125 ml (4 fl oz/½ cup) cream
- 100 g (3½ oz) unsalted butter
- 95 g (3¼ oz/½ cup) soft brown sugar
1. Combine the cream, butter and sugar in a saucepan and stir over medium heat, without boiling, until the sugar has dissolved. Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. Serve over waffles, pancakes or ice cream.
