Ingredients
- 1/4 cup smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Another family favorite of barbecue ribs, great for a dinner party that you can cook ahead in the morning. Great succulent ribs, very juicy and tender, delicioso!
Method
In a bowl, combine paprika, sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper and garlic powder into dry rub.
Clean the pork ribs, pat dry, and rub the spice mixture on ribs.
Transfer the ribs into the slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs.
Cook in slow cooker on high for 5-8 hours or until the ribs cooked through
Pre-heat the oven, carefully transfer the ribs into the oven tray.
Pour the sauce from the slow cooker through a sieve into small bowl.
Cook the ribs in the oven ,brush the sauce on to ribs 2 or 3 times. Cook for 10 to 20 minutes until caramelized.
Serve warm with dinner rolls!
