If you've never made a pizza out of a crumpet, you haven't lived! Sauce and melted cheese oozing into spongy holes make for a quick, tasty and easy treat
- 2 Golden Crumpets
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or tomato paste
- 1/4 cup grated tasty cheese
- pizza toppings of your choice (I used ham)
Preheat your overhead grill to high.
Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce over each crumpet. Top with your chosen toppings and the cheese.
Place under the grill to melt the cheese and heat through, about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
You can also eat these at room temperature later, so make extra to pack in lunchboxes.
