Finger-lickingly sticky and delicious chicken wings are loved by children and adults alike. Make a batch of these for your next party and watch them disappear.

chicken wings

  • 1kg chicken wing pieces
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • juice of 1 lemon

Preheat your oven to 220°C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Toss the chicken wing pieces in the flour, garlic powder, salt and cayenne pepper (if using). When evenly coated, place in a single layer on the baking sheet.

Drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake for 40 minutes or until crisp and browned on all sides.

Squeeze the juice of one lemon all over the wings whilst they are still hot.
