Puff-pastry twists
- 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup (80 g) sesame seeds
Method
1. Preheat the oven to moderately hot 200°C (400°F/Gas 6). Brush the pastry with the egg and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
2. Cut in half crossways and then into 1 cm-wide strips. Twist the strips and place on greased oven trays. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
