Parents are doing it tough right now, trying to embrace a whole new world order by keeping kids home to stop the spread of coronavirus.

Educators are working day and night to ensure students are not disadvantaged, whether they're studying from home, or still attending classes.

We acknowledge that the programs provided by educators are going to be expertly tailored to class cohorts, but many parents are asking how they can supplement their child's study program with useful screen time tasks.

Some families are facing unemployment of one or both partners while still trying to ensure their children don't fall behind in school, so with financial stress affecting so many, we've put together a list of free or temporarily free online educational resources for parents to turn to.

Also included are some quality paid sites which provide comprehensive treatments of core subjects.

Many educational sites have made their programs free for at least the next month, which gives families ample opportunity to try them and work out which ones suit best. Many also have their own app for tablet use.
