Recommended Posts

Long time dermalogica user but have been given some Estee Lauder skincare products which I quite like.  I need to replenish and not sure which way to go..  Have you used these products  and if so can you please give me your thoughts

thanks

Sentient Puddle

Purely from an ethical (testing on animals) perspective then Dermalogica would be the way to go for me and I have used them in the past with success.

I’ve always had super sensitive skin (childhood eczema) and have reacted to virtually all of the 100s of different skin/makeup products I’ve tried.   Until I found Dermalogica, which causes me no issues whatsoever, I’ve tried a range of their products which have been effective and non-irritating, and have settled into the 2-3 main ones that I use regularly. It does get expensive, but at least I’m not continually trying and discarding new products!
not sure if that helps you though :)

To be honest these are my two preferred brands.

Demalogica is good for my sensitive skin. However they have nothing in it really. Which is why you dont react. But that also means we'll it doesn't do much. LOL.

I have very dry skin and I never found Dermalogica suited my skin, not moisturising enough.  So I’d go EL.

I think it was the cleanser I tried.  It’s one of ‘Best Beauty Buys’ cult products and Is always listed as the best cleanser.  I found it stripped my skin like sandpaper!  But I’m sure is great for oily skin.

Ex Beauty Therapist, have worked with both products, and thought Dermalogica had far better results.
