Kristen Bell is unfortunately no stranger when it comes to being mum shamed.

However, the mother-of-two, who shares seven-year-old Lincoln and six-year-old Delta with her husband Dax Sheppard, has decided she's had enough of it, revealing she 'just doesn't buy into the idea that someone is allowed to shame you.'

"I'm different from the person sitting next to me, and our children have the same differences, right?" she told PEOPLE. "The reality is I have two very different children."

"One got potty-trained much later," she continued. "Both of them are going to, I assume, graduate high school and be able to function in the world and that will never be an issue."

The Good Place actress opened up last year about her struggles with toilet training her youngest daughter, saying it's perfectly normal that some kids take longer.

Instead of stressing about toilet training, Bell said her and Sheppard are going to focus on making sure both their kids grow up in a safe and happy environment instead of worrying about the smaller things.

The actress added that Delta has a 'smaller bladder' than other kids, and when they realised that it 'wasn't necessarily something they were doing wrong,' it "lifted the shame."

"I thought, 'Oh yeah, this is just how her body's going to grow.' And when she hits that milestone where she has a growth spurt, her bladder will be big enough and she will be fine," she said.

"She's not going to be wearing diapers in high school!"
